It is our great pleasure to invite you to the "5th Taipei Corporate Governance Forum", which will be held on 5-8 November 2008 at the Howard International House in Taipei. The Forum this year will focus on "Promoting corporate governance by securities regulatory organizations", "The assessment of corporate governance implementation", and "Corporate governance and insider trading regulations".

Additionally, taking advantage of invited distinguished speakers' and overseas guests' presence here in Taipei, we are planning a separate half-day Roundtable
(7 November 2008) to look into the issues of "Capital market integration and supervision" and "Sovereign wealth funds and international financial market regulation". If you are going to be in town for the Corporate Governance Forum, please consider taking part in the Roundtable, as well.

We have also arranged a one-day post-forum tour (8 November 2008) for you to enjoy the cultural and tourist spots of the island. We would like to inform you that participants do not have to pay for attending the forum including social events and post-forum tour, but should bear their own airfare and lodging expense.

For more information, please find the attached registration form and information on the Forum venue and suggestions for accommodation. If you have any further queries, please feel free to contact our Secretariat: Mr. Edward Chen, Education Center, Securities and Futures Institute (SFI), Tel: 886-2-2357-5107, Fax: 886-2-2392-7488,
